Yet another slider mobile phone

Samsung has announced yet another slider mobile phone to their collection, in the form of the L770. Samsung have a range of slider mobile phones already, such as the D900, G600, G800, U600, U700 and L760. It seems they have found a design that is popular with customers, and they are sticking to what they know is selling at the moment.

The L770 is an upgrade to the L760 mobile phone, which was aimed at users who wanted to use their mobile phone for blogging, uploading video clips to YouTube and sharing other content. It has been announced that the L770 will also have a blogging application, but Samsung are keeping tight lipped on the rest of the applications. We do know that it will have a 2 mega pixel camera with flash, secondary video call camera, micro SD expandable memory, HSDPA, Bluetooth, MP3 player, FM radio, built in handsfree, and document viewer.

The L770 is a 3.5G mobile phone and measures 102 x 48 x 14.2mm and weighs in at 93g, which is fairly lightweight for a 3.5G handset. The screen measures 2.1” and has a 240 x 320 pixel display. The HSDPA device has a maximum download speed of 3.6 Mbps.

Samsung will hopefully be releasing the L770 in July 2008.
