LG covers all input options

The LG KF700 is a mobile phone with a difference, the phone which is also known as the LG Virgo was announced at the Mobile World Congress last week in Barcelona.

The LG Virgo is a 3G touchscreen mobile phone with a 3.15 megapixel camera. It looks like it will be a good upgrade to those who are fans of LG and have had the LG Chocolate mobile phone, or who are looking for a cheaper version of the iPhone perhaps.

The LG Virgo has a full web browser with Google Search, blogs, Maps and YouTube – and because it has HSDPA browsing the web should be much faster than the iPhone’s EDGE connection. For the music lovers out there the LG Virgo plays MP3, WMA, AAC and MPEG4 videos.

LG claim that this is the worlds first mobile that allows you to navigate by three different options. So you can use the touchscreen option to browse the web as it uses a touchscreen navigation similar to the Apple iPhone, or you could use the jog wheel on the back of the phone to scroll through six user defined shortcuts or the keypad if you prefer to text using the standard method.

The LG Virgo (KF700) is rumoured for release at the end of quarter one 2008, which would give it a release date of next month, March, so if this is your type of phone and you are ready to get a new contract or upgrade keep an eye out for new deals.
